This story revolves around the lives and loves of two sisters, Shrilakshmi and Sahaja. Shrilakshmi loves Sahaja and takes care of her even though Sahaja wasn't born to her own mother. Shrilakshmi's stepmother Kalavathi showers all her love and affection on Sahaja but behaves oddly around Shrilakshmi. Both the sisters are ready for marriage but unfortunately since Shrilakshmi has a problem in her Kundli things are not that easy for her.
