Waada (Promise)

"Promise"—a bond between two people that Nandini tries to uphold with all her heart and soul. Nandini is a girl who lives her life all alone. She has no parents, and so she resides by herself in a village. Nandini is an extremely sweet and innocent girl—fair-skinned, with a beautiful face, and even more beautiful is the purity of her heart. She is full of compassion and warmth for everyone. She takes care of others and cannot bear to see anyone in pain. One day, her life takes a sudden turn when her uncle—Narendra Kashyap—comes to the village. He comes to take Nandini with him so that he can arrange her marriage with his son, Veer. In fact, Narendra Ji had known Nandini’s mother for a long time. She used to cook at his house and lived there as well. Because of her kind nature and loving heart, everyone in the household treated her like a family member. Narendra Ji even began to consider her as his elder sister. But some time later, Nandini’s mother passed away, and her relatives brought Nandini back to the village, where she had been living ever since. Now the question arises—what will happen to Nandini next? Will she be able to fulfill the promise? Will this new life accept her?
