Elena: The Serpent Queen

Elena has always believed the ancient Baltic legends were only stories. Until the sea calls her name. After a mysterious encounter on the Baltic coast, Elena awakens inside an ancient palace hidden deep beneath the sea. A golden grass snake mark has appeared on her skin, and the man waiting for her is Zavan, the feared and enigmatic King of the Drowned Realm. Zavan claims Elena answered an ancient call from the sea and that the mark has bound their destinies together. Elena remembers making no such promise. She refuses to surrender her freedom, her life, or her future to a supernatural king she does not trust. But the deeper she is drawn into Zavan's world, the more impossible truths begin to surface. The stories her grandmother once told her were real. The sacred grass snakes of ancient Baltic legend were never merely symbols. The old Baltic bloodlines never disappeared. And Elena is not an ordinary woman. Ancient forces are awakening beneath the Baltic Sea. Forgotten agreements are breaking. Enemies are watching from the shadows, and the mysterious bond between Elena and Zavan grows stronger with every passing day. Zavan gives her three days to return willingly. If she refuses, the sea will come for her. But Elena is about to discover that escaping Zavan may not be the greatest danger she faces. Because the real secret is not why the King of the Drowned Realm chose her. It is why the sea has been waiting for its queen.
