Ava never set out to rule anything. She married into power under complicated circumstances, stepping into rooms where she was underestimated, scrutinized, and expected to remain quiet. But silence was never her destiny. What begins as a calculated union becomes something far more dangerous: real. As Ava navigates Manhattan’s most powerful circles, builds her own strategic firm—Monarch—and forces the man beside her to meet her as an equal, she discovers that influence isn’t inherited. It’s built. This is not the story of a woman saved by wealth. It’s the story of a woman who becomes powerful in her own right.

The story really picks up in episode 25 when they head out to London, and honestly the story is so much better than a lot of these other books. Narration is a lot better than others too.
