The clock had just struck 11:30 PM. A cold wind whistled through the dense forest, while the towering trees cast eerie shadows that crawled across the ground as if an invisible force was stalking someone. In the middle of that lonely road, a black SUV stood motionless. "Damn it! Why did the car have to break down now?" Rohit slammed the hood in frustration. "There isn't even a network signal..." Neha said, raising her phone in the air. Suddenly, one signal bar appeared. Without wasting a second, Rohit called Aryan. "Bro... hurry up! We're stuck in the middle of the forest." Aryan replied confidently, "Stay where you are. I'm coming." --- Just as Aryan was about to leave the house, his grandmother's trembling voice stopped him. "Aryan... don't go, my child." He turned around. Fear was clearly visible in her eyes. "No one enters that forest after midnight. People say a woman wearing anklets wanders there. Every man who followed the sound of her footsteps... never returned." Aryan smiled. "Grandma, this is the twenty-first century. Ghosts don't exist. My friends need me. I can't leave them alone." His grandmother grabbed his hand tightly. "If you go into that forest tonight... you may never come back." Aryan gently freed his hand. "I promise... I'll be back soon." The door closed behind him. A tear rolled down his grandmother's cheek. Looking toward the dark sky, she whispered, "Oh God... has that cursed time returned once again?" --- Twenty minutes later... Aryan reached the place where his friends were waiting. Everyone sighed with relief. "Come on, let's fix the car and leave." Suddenly... Clink... Clink... Clink... The sound of anklets echoed through the forest. Everyone froze. "Did... did you hear that?" Pooja asked in a trembling voice. Rohit forced a smile. "It must be some animal..." Before anyone could react... A soft female voice began humming from behind the bushes. The melody was strangely beautiful... Almost as if someone was calling them. Aryan switched on his flashlight and slowly walked forward. Then... A blood-soaked red scarf floated through the air and landed right in front of them. Written on it in blood were the words— "Welcome... Aryan." Everyone's faces turned pale. Neha whispered, "How... does it know your name?" Before Aryan could answer... A terrifying woman's laughter echoed throughout the forest. "Ha... Ha... Ha... Ha..." The entire forest seemed to shake. Within seconds... A thick blanket of fog surrounded them. Everyone began shouting each other's names. "Rohit!" "Pooja!" "Neha!" Then... A white figure slowly emerged from the mist. Long black hair... Flowing white robes... Her feet hovered above the ground... And her golden eyes glowed in the darkness. Panic took over. All five friends started running. But the faster they ran... The deeper the forest became. Then... One by one... Each friend mysteriously disappeared. Finally... Only Aryan remained. He shouted, "Who are you?" The mysterious woman slowly stepped closer. A faint smile appeared on her face. Then she softly said, "Have you forgotten me so soon... Aryan?" The moment he heard those words... Blurred memories from a hundred years ago flashed before his eyes. A forgotten village... A smiling young woman... Fire... Blood... Screams... And then... A blinding golden light engulfed everything. Aryan vanished into the light. ---
