They told me to marry my enemy. They never told me I'd want to keep him. Aurora Bianchi grew up on one rule: the Volkovs killed her brother, and one day, she would make them pay. So when her father orders her to marry Ivan Volkov to stop a war, she doesn't cry. She plans. Every room in his mansion is a clue. Every secret he hides is a weapon she'll use to bring him down. Ivan Volkov is a name people whisper in fear. Cold. Ruthless. Untouchable. Rumor says he killed his own uncle for less than a wrong look. But Aurora soon learns the man in his bed is nothing like the monster in the stories — and that terrifies her more than his reputation ever did. Because Ivan isn't hunting her. He's guarding her. From enemies inside his own family. From a truth that could destroy them both. From the night that started the war between their families — a night neither of them remembers the same way. The closer Aurora gets to the proof she needs, the more she realizes: the man she married may not be her enemy at all. But someone wants the truth buried. And they're willing to bury Aurora with it. What if the biggest lie in this war… was who really pulled the trigger?

Vendetta Vows is dark, tense, and addictive. Aurora marrying her family’s greatest enemy with every intention of destroying him from the inside is such a strong premise. Watching her slowly realize Ivan isn’t the monster she was raised to hate makes every chapter more compelling. The secrets, the protection, and the danger feel perfectly balanced. I’m completely hooked and can’t wait to see where the truth leads.

This series is a mindblowing one. Aurora is entangled in a web of secrets and suspense. I am so hooked. I felt it really lovely that Ivan is protective of her.

This feels like the kind of story where every time Aurora thinks she's finally figured something out, another secret is revealed. I love that the danger isn't only coming from outside the family but may also be coming from people they already trust. The combination of the arranged marriage and the mystery surrounding the family war definitely has my attention.

“Aurora has a reason to fight, not just a reason to fall in love.” I like that she enters the marriage with an actual objective. She's investigating Ivan rather than immediately falling for him, so the romance has something to develop from.

“This sounds like the kind of arranged-marriage romance that gets addictive.” Aurora enters the marriage intending to destroy Ivan, while Ivan is secretly protecting her. That reversal gives the romance a strong emotional foundation instead of making the conflict feel one-sided.

Aurora is such an interesting character. I love that she’s not just accepting her fate, she’s already planning her next move.

Just 12hours after the ceremony and there is this much Chaos, this is indeed a murder Investigation not a marriage.

Aurora needs to relax 😂 It’s good that she’s being extra cautious and all but girl, Ivan is not the enemy 🙄
