Bram Callow is just a smudge in the world, an ordinary boy in a village where magic runs in the very earth. But when a rogue surge of power threatens his sister, something impossible happens: the magic doesn't burn him, it goes in. Now, the boy once dismissed as 'Dusk' finds himself a vessel for an ancient, dangerous force, drawing the terrifying attention of the Argent Order who hunt those like him. With every use, a piece of his past vanishes, replaced by a hunger he doesn't understand. Can Bram master the power that consumes memories, or will he become the very monster the Order fears, losing himself to become unstoppable?
