The peaceful world Lode is shattered when a rogue planet collides with its southern ice cap, unleashing not just devastation, but something far more ancient. Seven monarchs, rulers of a land without gods venture into the newly formed mountains, only to encounter Meliana, an ethereal being who floats above the ground and speaks of a forgotten pantheon of Gods. She reveals herself as a surviving goddess from the doomed planet, now weakened, and offers the monarchs a terrifying truth: their world is about to be reborn through magic and worship. As other gods emerge, claiming new, monstrous followers, the kings and queen must decide if they will embrace this terrifying new power, or be consumed by it.
