Left for dead on the cold stones of Stormvale Academy, Ryan Vale's last breath awakens something ancient and furious within him. Brutally beaten and abandoned by his peers, a dying boy from the slums finds himself possessed by a power that is not his own, a forgotten warrior's spirit demanding vengeance. As visions of forgotten battles and a life unlived flood his mind, Ryan is no longer just a student, but a vessel for a legend buried for sixty years. Now, with a sword that hungers for blood and a past that isn't his own, he must rise from the ashes of his broken body. But what price will he pay for a second chance at life, when the power he wields belongs to a ghost?
