The Portal System

Elias Rook is a danger to everyone around him, not because of power, but because he has none. At Breachspire Academy, where magical aptitude defines destiny, Elias is branded "unclassified," a provisional student whose only talent seems to be spotting flaws in the system. But when a routine safety drill goes catastrophically wrong, his quick thinking saves a life, even as it lands him in deeper trouble. Now, with only three days to prove his worth or face expulsion, a mysterious, invisible system awakens within him, offering quests and tracking his every move. Can an unclassified student, guided by a hidden power, carve his own path in a world obsessed with magic, or is he merely a pawn in a game he doesn't understand?
