In the Empire of Sunder, Lady Elara has risen from a lowly court scribe to the "Poet Empress" after her written verses began manifesting as physical magic—a power known as Inkmancy. They have spent navigating deadly court politics, hiding their forbidden tether, and discovering that the Emperor’s own magic is fading. Now, at the dawn of the Third Season, the border walls are thinning, and Elara’s poetry is the only thing keeping the literal darkness at bay.
