The Girl in the Drain

A late-night editing session turns Tessa Ward's world upside down when an encrypted leak lands on her screen: raw police photos of a Jane Doe pulled from a storm drain. What seems like a tragic, ordinary drowning quickly unravels into something far more sinister. As Tessa zooms in, a tarnished silver identity bracelet on the victim's wrist reveals a name she knows, a name from her own buried past. This isn't just a dead girl; it's a ghost from a seventeen-year-old nightmare, proving that some secrets refuse to stay buried. Now, Tessa must confront the chilling truth: who is Maddie, and why was she found in a drain, still wearing a piece of Tessa's history?
