Mable wakes on her anniversary, hoping for a moment of warmth from the man she loves, only to be met with chilling contempt. Her husband, Jason, reminds her she was bought to settle a debt, his eyes fixed on the scar that mars her face, a constant reminder of his disdain. But when his parents join in the cruel mockery, something inside Mable snaps. The quiet, enduring wife unleashes a fury that shocks them all, revealing a hidden strength they never imagined. Can a woman trapped in a loveless, transactional marriage reclaim her dignity, or will the weight of their cruelty finally break her?
