Before crowns, before borders, humanity struggled against a merciless world, unaware that unseen forces watched their every move. Now, strange dreams plague the scattered settlements, foretelling a burning horizon and a man who stands where the river threatens to swallow all. An ancient woman, Enhedu, waits by the water, knowing a decision has been made far beyond human understanding. A mysterious stranger arrives, speaking of choices humanity doesn't know it has, and the dire consequences if they refuse. He speaks of a king, a man who does not want the throne, yet whose arrival will ignite a struggle for the right to rule humanity itself. As the world trembles with an impending change, who will dare to claim the power that could unite or destroy them all?
