The Face in the Window

Forensic psychologist Dr. Elowen Voss knows the dark corners of the human mind. She has built her career on them. But when a distorted voice message whispers, “You think you know monsters, Dr. Voss? Wait until you meet the one wearing your face,” her controlled world begins to crack. That same morning, the FBI calls her to consult on a series of murders. The victims are all women. They share the same haunting resemblance to Elowen herself. As the bodies mount, the killer leaves behind clues no stranger could know: a childhood photograph she has never seen,.... The press calls him the Mirror Man. But Elowen soon realizes he is not hunting at random. He is hunting her. And the only way to stop him is to uncover the memories her mind has buried so deeply she isn’t sure they’re real. In a deadly game of psychological chess, Elowen must outwit an adversary who knows her better than she knows herself—before the next body wearing her face is her own. Some reflections don’t just watch you. They want to become you.
