A Cursed Beginning and His Parents’ Sacrifice. The story begins with the birth of Corbin Valerius, the direct heir of House Valerius, who lives in the Lord Commander’s Keep. Unfortunately, Corbin is born with sealed meridians, meaning he can never practice martial arts or cultivation. To search for a cure for their son and protect the empire, his parents, Lysander and Gayatri, leave Corbin at the family estate and travel to the dangerous Northern March, where they fight against terrifying demons. After his parents leave, political schemes begin within the estate. Corbin’s stepmother, Rowena, secretly mixes poison into his childhood medicine to ensure that he remains permanently weak and crippled. Everyone considers Corbin a worthless cripple and looks at him with pity. However, no one knows that Corbin was born with memories of his previous life and possesses a magical System Panel. He deliberately pretends to be lazy while quietly increasing his Experience Points (XP) and Skill Points through hobbies such as chess, painting, and fishing. With the help of these magical points, Corbin effortlessly masters deadly sword techniques such as Infinite Ocean Swordsmanship and powerful body-refinement techniques such as the Vajra-Body Discipline. Meanwhile, a loyal soldier of House Valerius, Uncle Suman, discovers Corbin’s hidden talent. However, he is killed during a demon attack on the Northern March, and only his severed arm is returned home. This tragedy ignites a silent but ferocious determination within Corbin to protect his family. After Alina leaves, an eccentric and immensely powerful elderly man named Grand-uncle Orion enters Corbin’s life. Orion takes Corbin fishing, but these are no ordinary fishing trips. Under the guise of fishing, Corbin hunts terrifying Demon-Fish and increases his strength to an entirely different level. Using his System’s multipliers and the magical Great Moon Channel, seven-year-old Corbin becomes so powerful that a single punch carries a force of 60 tons, or approximately 132,000 pounds. He can crush enormous demons and deadly assassins in the blink of an eye. Now, when the danger from the Northern March finally reaches the Lord Commander’s Keep, how will the child everyone dismissed as a worthless cripple reveal his true strength to the world?
