The Chief's Ground

The ancient drums of Nyamhondo beat for a naming ceremony, but the celebration shatters when Chief Muzenda collapses dead, his final words echoing unfinished. His son, Tanaka, steps forward to claim his inheritance, but the ground beneath him is already shifting. As chaos erupts and mourning descends, an elder named Gogo Chiedza clutches a secret document, a thirty-year-old truth she intended to burn with the Chief. But a hidden watcher in the shadows ensures her secret remains unburnt, threatening to expose a past that could unravel the very fabric of Nyamhondo. In a land where tradition is law, can Tanaka truly lead when his father's legacy is built on a lie, and a hidden truth threatens to consume them all?
