THE BROKEN LAMP: A CHRONICLE OF LIGHT AND DUST A story of failure, exile, and divine restoration. THE LIGHT AND THE LAMB She took of its fruit and ate THE EXILE OF LIGHT 1. The Dust of Shame Elior is stripped of his office and banished from the city. God often breaks us where we built our identity without Him. A broken and contrite heart Shame is not the end — it is the soil where grace takes root. 2. The Wilderness Path Elior wanders through barren lands haunted by guilt. The wilderness is not punishment but preparation. In silence, God teaches us to hear differently. 3. The Shepherd Without Sheep Elior meets a shepherd who lost his flock to wolves. Loss reveals whether we served for love or for outcome. Do you love Me more than these?” True service is not proven by success but by surrender. 4. The Weaver of Masks A woman weaves garments of beauty but hides her scars beneath them. We cannot clothe our wounds in beauty — healing begins with unveiling. God does not fix us for display — He adorns us with redemption. 5. The River That Remembers Elior falls ill near a river and dreams of his past failures. Memory can either chain us to guilt or wash us into grace. He will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. When God forgives, He forgets by transforming the meaning of your story. THE LAMP REFORGED 6. The Potter’s Fire Elior finds shelter in a potter’s house who teaches him about clay, heat, and renewal. Brokenness is God’s invitation to be remolded. Fire doesn’t destroy the vessel; it perfects its purpose. 7. The Blind Girl’s Light Elior meets a blind girl named Tirzah who “sees” the world through spiritual sight. Faith is the true vision of the soul. Those who walk by faith see clearer than those with sight. 8. The House of Echoes Elior enters a deserted town where voices repeat his past failures. Condemnation is the echo of guilt; grace is the silence that follows. Freedom is not the absence of memory but the absence of accusation. 9. The Scroll and the Storm He finds a torn scroll of the Psalms in a ruined temple during a storm. God still speaks in fragments — even broken words carry truth. Illumination often begins with a torn page. 10. The Stranger at the Fire A traveler joins Elior by night and speaks of light hidden in darkness — the pre-incarnate Christ. Every exile is a journey toward revelation. God walks beside us disguised as the very mystery we fear. THE RESTORATION 11. The Garden of Ashes Elior discovers a barren garden and begins to cultivate it. Renewal begins when we labor with hope again. Beauty for ashes is not exchange — it is transformation. 12. The Mirror of Waters He sees his reflection in a still pond but cannot recognize himself. Identity in Christ replaces the image of failure. God restores not who we were — but who we were meant to be. 13. The Voice in the Wind In solitude, Elior hears the voice of God whispering forgiveness. Divine speech is intimate, not loud.
