After a bizarre accident ends his life on Earth, Grant awakens in a world where humanity survives through the power of summoning. Every year, gifted students call mighty familiars from distant realms: elves, angels, vampires, dragons, and countless other legendary beings. Grant summons a wolf. Overnight, he becomes the laughingstock of the academy. But Ulric is no ordinary wolf. Hidden beneath its unassuming appearance lies a divine beast whose existence defies everything the world believes about summoning. Worse still, Grant possesses a mysterious ability known as Soul Contract, allowing him to grow alongside his familiars in ways no summoner ever has. As rival students, powerful factions, and enemies beyond humanity's borders close in around him, Grant must master a power that was never meant to exist. Because the weakest summon in history may be the beginning of a new age.

This is a different take of an academy story he’s different from everybody. He’s smart. I like that all of the summons are not the normal type of creatures you see and other stories I like how smart he is. So in the beginning chapters for some reason yes the last sentence seems to be cut off all the time, but it fixes itself later. The narrator’s voice is fine. It’s not annoying like some other stories. I like that you can’t read into the story.

love the story and can't wait to see what he summons next and i like the way all of the legends and mythical creatures are all put together across all of the religions and all the trouble he gets in to

I am really enjoying this series! I like the way they have to prepare ahead of time before they summon a new familiar! The storyline is great! 👍🏻
