A gallows stands sentinel over Redemption, a town where secrets run deeper than the dusty streets. Thaddeus Rourke arrives, drawn by a cryptic letter from his brother, Samuel, warning of danger and a sheriff not to be trusted. But Samuel is already dead, supposedly a bank robber shot by the very lawman Thad was warned about. As Thad uncovers layers of deceit, from a lying liveryman to a mysterious saloon owner, he realizes his brother's death is no simple tragedy. With a strange silver coin bearing a black bird symbol, and three men already trying to kill him, Thad is caught in a deadly web where everyone has something to hide. Can he unearth the truth in a town built on lies, or will Redemption claim him too?
