Jenny Walter spent two years as the invisible wife of a man who never once looked her in the eyes, nothing more than a contractual obligation to Alec Faust and his empire. The day she signs the divorce papers, she does not cry, she disappears, and the woman who returns is no longer quiet or obedient but Dr. Jenny Walter, a world renowned neurosurgeon with a shadowed past and secrets powerful enough to ruin empires. When fate pulls her back into Alec’s life, he does not recognize the wife he discarded or the woman he broke, but he cannot ignore the fire, the danger, and the pull he cannot escape. And when the truth finally surfaces that the woman he is desperate to possess is the same wife he once threw away, it may already be too late, because Jenny did not come back for love, she came back for something far more dangerous, revenge.
