Luci was supposed to die that night. Instead, he came back with something that shouldn't exist. After a near-death experience, impossible things begin happening to him. He knows things he never learned. Remembers places he's never been. Sees connections no one else can see. And with every answer comes a more disturbing question: where is the knowledge coming from? At first, what is happening to Luci feels like an extraordinary advantage. But the more he trusts what he knows, the more impossible his knowledge becomes. Because Luci isn't simply remembering. He's gaining access. To memories that aren't his. To truths buried long before he was born. To connections no human mind should be able to make. And whatever Luci has begun to access doesn't seem bound by memory, distance—or even time. His search for answers will take him far beyond the mystery of his own survival, toward a truth capable of changing everything he believes about memory, consciousness, and the limits of the human mind. But there is one possibility Luci hasn't considered. If he can reach what lies beyond those limits... what happens when it reaches back?
