Fifty years ago, portals tore open reality, unleashing monsters that nearly wiped out humanity. Now, a fragile peace is maintained by the Monster Obliteration Squad, elite Slayers who wield incredible powers. Aaron, a new M.O.S. Porter, dreams of more than just carrying equipment for arrogant Slayers like Damian Vane, who sees him as nothing but expendable. On his very first day, late and burdened by a mysteriously heavy pack, Aaron is forced into a shimmering emerald portal, stepping into a dungeon where even the most powerful Slayers fear to tread. But in a world where power defines survival, can a low-level Porter with a secret burden truly make a difference, or is he just another casualty waiting to happen?
