On Gerillian Island, ancient laws dictate a brutal Birthing Ritual for the Chief's wife, a ceremony that claimed every woman before Ky Flask. Now, as her second child is due, the air crackles with dread, and her young son Tatum is forced to witness his mother's terror and his father's chilling indifference. Ky, the first to survive the ritual once, whispers a desperate plea to Tatum: protect his new brother and become a better man than their Chief father. But when screams echo through the palace and a blood-stained robe is discovered, Tatum overhears a conversation that shatters his world, revealing a horrifying truth about his mother's fate and his father's cold ambition. Can a child navigate a world steeped in dark traditions and betrayal, or is he destined to repeat the cycle of power and pain?
