One minute, William Carter is a perpetually broke office drone, battling bills and the existential dread of his morning commute. The next, a glitch in reality, a mysterious train, and a pair of pointy ears later, he's stranded in Aurelian—a medieval fantasy world complete with dragons, magic, and an alarming lack of functional currency. With his phone frozen at 8:16 AM and his bank account useless, William faces a choice: panic, or embrace the absurd. But while others might seek ancient prophecies or legendary quests, William sees only opportunity in the broken roads and chaotic markets of this new realm. He's an Earthling with no magic, no money, and no idea how he got here, yet he's already eyeing a plot of land and a business venture. Can a modern-day land developer build an empire in a world that doesn't even understand the concept of a dollar, or will his ambition be swallowed by a world far more fantastical than he ever imagined?
