Ben, a self-proclaimed goth, navigates high school shrouded in apathy, convinced he's invisible until the school's most magnetic and openly gay student, Hayden Cross, notices him. Suddenly, Ben's carefully constructed world of detachment begins to crack as whispers and stares follow him through the halls. Desperate to maintain his facade and deny a truth he's not ready to face, he enlists his sister Lyra in a dangerous charade: a fake relationship to ward off Hayden's undeniable interest. But as the lines between pretense and reality blur, Ben finds himself caught in a web of his own making, forced to confront not just Hayden's gaze, but the unsettling stirrings within himself. Can he truly hide from what feels inevitable, or will this elaborate lie only lead him closer to the truth he fears most?
