Aetheria was a world divided between light jsun, building cities, kingdoms, and civilizations that flourished in daylight. Vampires, on the other hand, existed in the darkness—hidden from the world, moving through the night like whispers no one dared to follow. For centuries, this fragile balance remained unbroken. But the vampires had grown restless. They no longer wished to remain creatures of the shadows while humans ruled the light. Slowly, their hunger turned into ambition, and their ambition into war. A hundred and fifty years ago, chaos erupted across Aetheria. Vampires began attacking human settlements without warning. Some humans were drained of their life, their bodies left cold and lifeless in the streets. Others were bitten and infected, forced into a cursed transformation that turned them into creatures of the night. Panic spread like wildfire as towns fell and fear took root in every corner of the world. The vampires made their intentions clear—they wanted to take over Aetheria. Desperate to stop the destruction, the rulers and officials of the human kingdoms gathered for an emergency council. Representatives from every region came together to discuss one thing: peace. Among them sat the Vampire Lord himself. Lord Skyrim. Unlike the tense and frightened humans around him, he remained silent throughout the discussions. His presence alone filled the chamber with unease. The humans argued, debated, and pleaded with one another, searching for a solution that could save their people from extinction. After hours of negotiation, the humans finally reached a decision. They were willing to make sacrifices. To satisfy the vampires’ endless thirst for life, the humans agreed to provide them with vast supplies of life-force vaccines and supplements—artificial sources that could help control their hunger without constant bloodshed. But that was not all. The humans also promised to live peacefully alongside the vampires and treat them not as monsters, but as another race within Aetheria. To prove their sincerity, they offered the Vampire Lord one additional wish. When Lord Skyrim finally spoke, the entire council chamber fell silent. His request was simple, yet shocking. He wished for the ancient law to be broken—the law that forbade unions between humans and vampires. He wanted humans and vampires to be allowed to marry. For generations, such relationships had been strictly forbidden, considered unnatural and dangerous. Yet the humans had already sworn to grant the Vampire Lord a wish, and breaking that promise would destroy the fragile peace they were trying to create. After a long and uneasy silence, the humans agreed. And with that decision, the fate of Aetheria changed forever.
