The Birth of Divinity: How Humanity Was Reshaped Before ranks. Before crystals. Before gods and slayers. Humanity relied on mana. Mana was natural. It flowed through the body and into the world. People shaped it into constructs, reinforced their physical abilities, and enhanced their senses. It was not hierarchical. It was not classified. It was not weaponized on a global scale. Then the Divine arrived. The Divine were not gods in the traditional sense. They were higher beings born with absolute authority over reality. Emotionless and detached, they observed humanity with curiosity. They did not understand suffering. They did not understand ambition. They did not understand why humans fought so desperately to grow stronger. One Divine, seeking answers, made contact with a single human. That human was Johan Dexroid Isidore — the first man to stand before Divinity and survive. Johan was not given power. He was not chosen as a champion. Instead, he was given responsibility. The Divine wished to conduct an experiment. They would introduce structure into human potential. They would create a hierarchy. They would assign ranks. They would transform mana into a measurable force known as MP. Through Johan, five individuals were selected as vessels for Divine energy. They were meant to embody five pillars: Destruction. Reconstruction. Time. Gravity. And one final undefined essence. Had all five awakened fully, humanity would have gained mastery over space, time, and matter. But destiny fractured. Before the Divine energy could fully manifest, two of the five were killed during the first invasion. The Time wielder and the Gravity wielder died before reaching their true potential. Their loss destabilized the balance the Divine had intended. What followed reshaped Earth forever. An alien colony known as Nairock descended upon the planet. The Nairock, humanoid beings marked with stone-like patterns across their bodies, had come to harvest beast gemstones. These gemstones were crystallized energy cores extracted from monstrous creatures that roamed the Earth. The Nairock had mastered their usage long before humanity understood their potential. War erupted. Humanity was unprepared. Their mana was raw and unfocused. The Nairock wielded refined energy, advanced combat abilities, and structured power systems. The three surviving vessels of Divine energy became known as the Big Three. Empowered by partial fragments of God MP, they could create, destroy, and reconstruct matter at extraordinary levels. They stood as humanity’s last defense. Johan fought beside them. He did not possess Divine power, but he carried knowledge. He understood the origin of the new system. He understood that humanity’s future depended on adaptation. During the Great Quill Catastrophe — the most devastating battle of the war — Johan sacrificed himself to ensure the survival of the remaining Divine vessels. In the chaos, his wife, Jekeroid Francis, also perished. Their child survived. The war ended not in victory, but in negotiation. The Nairock withdrew under a thirty-year agreement. Humanity would have three decades to adapt, evolve, and learn to utilize the beast crystals properly. At the end of that period, the Nairock would return to evaluate humanity’s progress. The world entered a new era. Crystals were categorized from Common to Demon and Emperor rank. These gemstones enhanced MP capacity, unlocked abilities, and shaped societal hierarchy. Military academies were formed. Power became currency. Below the Divine hierarchy emerged two dominant paths: God MP, granting the power to create, destroy, and reform reality — but stripping users of emotion. Consequence MP, also known as Slayer MP, granting the ability to oppose gods, fueled by heightened emotional intensity and the capacity to manipulate will. Yet above both existed a third classification — rare and nearly mythical. Divine MP. Unlike God MP or Slayer MP, Divine MP did not abandon emotion nor surrender to rage.
