It has been 200 years since the first demon attacks and yokai/human familiars. Humans live daily in a world alongside demons and yokai. In Japan, a society was formed to deal with these attacks based on techniques from shinobi and samurai culture. This society, The Lotus, lets in no outsiders. Adopted as a baby, Ashanti grew up sheltered in an already sheltered community that allows no technology from the outside world and stuck out like a sore thumb against her peers. She was from Africa, standing at 5'9, with smooth brown skin, purple eyes, and long curly raven black hair. She decided to use her powers to silence demons.
