Detective Kane hired an undercover psychologist , Eva DeLuca to get into the head of Adrian Romano, who is the head of the entire Romano family crime syndicate and a notorious hoodlum. As Eva tries to penetrate deeper into Adrian’s persona she realizes that his criminal enterprise is as artificial as the dreams he holds dear and which he barely comprehends. This distinction drawn between Eva’s duty and her feelings compels her to choose between exposing Adrian and becoming his worst enemy or stand by his side to fulfil his ambitions.
