He’s the consequence of a science gone wrong. She’s the daughter of the man who tried to bury it. Twenty years ago, a biological experiment turned a kingdom into a new species of powerful hybrids. To the world, they are monsters. To Princess Scarlett Rose, they don’t even exist. Raised behind a silver-infused barrier, Scarlett believes her father’s kingdom is the last bastion of humanity—until the night a silver-haired stranger scales the walls and shatters her world. Prince Alexander Alverez is a man fueled by a singular obsession: revenge. He watched the King of Solaris murder his family in a rain of silver arrows, and now, he’s come to take the King’s most precious "possession." His plan was simple: kidnap the Princess, break the King, and vanish back into the shadows. He expected a spoiled royal; instead, he finds a woman who looks at him with curiosity instead of fear, and whose touch silences the chaos in his rewritten DNA. As they flee into the dangerous wilds beyond the barrier, Scarlett must face the truth about her father’s cruelty, while Alexander must decide if his thirst for vengeance is stronger than his hunger for the woman he was supposed to destroy. The cure was supposed to be forever. Their attraction might be even more permanent.
