The Sky She Stole

In a small, forgotten town, people wake up each morning to a different sky. Some days it rains fire. Some days there are two suns. Some nights, the stars are entirely rearranged. No one knows why — except a small group of "Sky Borrowers," people who can trade pieces of their memories to control the skies for a day. Each time a Sky Borrower alters the sky, a memory vanishes from reality — and everyone else forgets that memory ever existed. Nia soon starts to realize she’s the only one remembering things no one else does. She hears fragments of voices on the wind, forgotten songs, and pieces together the horrifying truth: someone is systematically erasing the town’s entire history to craft their perfect world.
