Purva – intelligent, confident, but from a simple family. She has recently completed her graduation. Father – an honest government officer, who is always forced to live in difficult situations because of corruption. Mother – the one who keeps the family together. Elder sister – married, busy with her in-laws. Younger sister – studying in college. Purva keeps attending job interviews, but without bribery or recommendations, she doesn’t get any opportunity. Her friends easily secure jobs, but Purva keeps falling behind. At home, her father also faces pressure in his job – because of his honesty, senior officers constantly harass him. In society, people start talking – "What’s the use of studying so much? She doesn’t even have a job!" At one place, Purva gets a job offer, but they demand a bribe. She is surrounded by family troubles – her elder sister’s marital issues, her younger sister’s education expenses, the growing burden of debt at home… Yet, her father’s honesty influences her decision. She firmly says – "I will not begin my career by giving a bribe." These circumstances make her feel disheartened. But her mother’s affection and her father’s faith give her strength. Their lesson – "No matter how difficult life becomes, never leave the path of honesty" – lifts Purva back up. Purva’s struggle continues, but with her courage and values, it is clear that she will face life’s challenges with her head held high, never by making compromises.
