Lauren Lancaster and Terrell Montgomery met at her family law firm. Just when their relationship develops, she is sent to Paris to help launch Lancaster International. Soon after arriving in Paris, she discovers she is pregnant. Lauren is told by Jewell Arrington that she is in a relationship with Terrell and Lauren decides not to tell Terrell about being pregnant. Five years later, she has to return to Chicago to help run the company after her father has a heart attack. Lauren struggles to determine when and if she will tell Terrell about his daughter.
