In a world that thrives under the cover of night, Tyrone Maxwell learns he is no ordinary vampire. Turned in a city that never sleeps, he awakens to a divine mark pulsing crimson and gold — a gift from gods long forgotten, and a curse that could devour him whole. At Aethyra Academy, the first of the ancient vampire academies, Tyrone is thrown into a brutal hierarchy where godmarked vampires are forged through blood, pain, and fire. Each student bears the essence of a god — Ares’ fury, Athena’s strategy, Hades’ dominion — but Tyrone’s power burns different. His War Sigil hums with something older, darker, and far more dangerous than any divine gift. As he battles rival vampires, deadly instructors, and the creeping shadow of his own power, Tyrone must decide what kind of monster he will become — or if he’ll lose himself to the god that sleeps within his veins. Can he master the fury of the gods without becoming their weapon? Or is his destiny written in blood long before his first breath as a vampire?
