The adventure of A Familiar Stranger begins with Macy, an ambitious new college graduate full of life and ready to take on the world. Shortly after starting her new job as a journalist, she wakes up in a dingy basement, chained, groggy and dirty, wondering - what happened? Through a series of unfortunate events, she finds out that her life is not what she thought it was and if she wants to get out, she will have to defy odds and possibly face death.
