The Accidental Apex

While spending yet another night alone and another 2:00 a.m. dinner by way of microwave, Caleb is suddenly and inexplicably transported to a mysterious chamber after witnessing his microwave explode for no reason. In this new and foreign environment he is forced into impossible situations while learning that he was NOT the intended target of the summoning ritual and that more than one system is trying to integrate into him. In the process of these partial system integrations he finds an unlikely ally and love interest in Shellbee, that was SUPOSED to be part of the systems structure.
