The Star and the Dragon

Before time began, the world emerged from a single pulse of creation, and from it were born the Seven Dragons: Vaelith, the radiant First Flame; Nyxen, the patient Shadow; Draveth, the tempest of Storms; Serath, the flowing Tides; Vyrna, the enduring Frost; Tharos, the steadfast Earth; and Vyrnath, the raw Flame. Bound by the Accord of Origin, they shaped the world in harmony, balancing light and shadow, storm and tide, frost and earth, fire and motion. When humans appeared, fragile and ambitious, Vaelith favored them with her brilliance, inspiring kings, civilizations, and a mortal Queen whose courage would one day touch the heart of a hero named Apollo. Nyxen whispered caution, and the others guided and tempered mortal impulses. Yet mortal pride and devotion fractured the Accord, sowing discord that even the dragons could not fully contain. Calamities arose, balance faltered, and the age of harmony ended. Now, as Vaelith stirs and the echoes of the others awaken, the Seven Dragons will rise once more, and Apollo and the Queen will find their destinies entwined with the fate of dragons and the world itself.
