She blinked in shock at the rude and arrogant way she was being spoken to by Darlene's father. "I'm...I'm...", she stuttered uncontrollably "You what?", his deep voice boomed again at her with his dark eyes drilling hate into her skin. "Daddy! She's my teacher!", Darlene's little voice interrupted. "Come here, princess. What did daddy say about walking with strangers?" he knelt to his daughter, eying Marilyn with hate. _______ After a long day at work, Marilyn decides to head back home as her pupils have all been picked up from school by their parents or guardians. Surprisingly, she spots a pretty little girl with beautiful, long brown hair playing alone at the playground. The girl happens to be one of her favorites in the class. After interacting briefly with the girl, she decides to take the worn-out little girl back to her parents. However, when he reaches the little girl's daddy's office, he hurls hurtful words at her, calling her a gold digger who only offered to help because of his wealthy status.
