In a post-apocalyptic world where monsters have devastated civilization, sixteen-year-old Eve reluctantly joins the military to support her dying mother and homeless brother, only to find herself repeatedly being the sole survivor of devastating monster attacks that kill her teammates. After a particularly brutal mission where her entire squad is wiped out, a mysterious "Armory System" offers her supernatural combat abilities and weapons, transforming her from a terrified recruit into an increasingly powerful warrior. As Eve rises through the ranks and takes command of various survivor groups, she discovers that her own military has abandoned frontline soldiers like her, viewing them as expendable while conducting systematic missile bombardments that threaten to kill survivors and monsters alike. Leading a growing community of abandoned soldiers and civilians, Eve must navigate the deadly politics of a collapsing command structure, manage scarce resources, and fight increasingly dangerous monsters while building a sustainable settlement from the ruins of the old world—all while the Armory System continues to enhance her abilities and guide her toward mysterious objectives that may hold the key to humanity's survival.
