In the golden city of Qalath-Mir, young Mac survives the streets not by stealing, but by helping others—his charm and courage earning him the care of the community. Pale-skinned, green-eyed, and clever, he hides his difference with clay and charcoal, blending in while facing life’s trials. Yet Mac’s life is far from ordinary. A lazy god named Lazarus, too bored to manage the universe his father created, has turned reality into a cosmic RPG—sometimes helpful, sometimes chaotic, always unpredictable. As Mac discovers powers he never expected, faces divine challenges, and walks the path of a paladin, he learns that being a hero is about heart, wit, and the stories that shape the world… even when a god is rolling the dice behind the scenes. “A boy with courage, a lazy god with dice, and a world that plays along.”
