Blue flowers cover a portal to the future but the government doesn't want people to get too close. Strange things happen during the 3 days every 3 years that the flowers bloom. 6 people experience 3 years in the future after they would naturally have died. this is the story of their journeys where a 3 year journey into the future makes them all a lot wealthier, and not always just financially. With a helping of genuine historic events against the backdrop of time travel, we see the often sad portrayal of man's cruelty, resilience and community spirit, wrapped in a blanket of hope.
