Three years after being left at the altar by the man she loved, Velma Sanders has rebuilt her life from the ashes of humiliation. No longer the timid woman who begged for affection, she now runs a small interior design company and lives for her son, the only reminder of a night that changed everything. When Albert Grayson, the cold and ruthless billionaire who once broke her heart, returns to town, he discovers the truth he was never meant to know — the child he abandoned. Torn between guilt, anger, and an emotion he long buried, Albert will do anything to reclaim both Velma and their son. But Velma is no longer the desperate bride he left behind. She’s stronger, smarter, and unwilling to be hurt again — unless Albert proves that love can rise even from betrayal.

I am enjoying the flow of this story so far. The background music perfectly captures the emotional state of each character/scene. Great job, writer!! 👏

I like the storyline , although so much like recent new series, I am REALLY struggling with how the story has absolutely completely changed from the beginning (ie friend buying her a bus ticket to Seaside Cove OR to now driving , sleeping in car , being homeless, settling in North Carolina to later moving to OR … and also the story changing from leaving town due protect anyone knowing about pregnancy to NOW, being threatened by Victoria threatening to take child)…. There needs to be consistency in storyline …. I’m having a hard time continuing to listen.
