A fantasy novel with all the making of an epic saga, from magical creatures, dwarves, gnomes, Elves, Beast kin and formidable enemies. Massive world building brought together in realism and fantasy through thoughtful storytelling. Filled with back stories, action, suspense, romance, extreme highs and lows everything that brings a listener into a well thought out audio series. The wind carried the scent of rain across the dark forest high pines, whispering through the branches like an ancient voice remembering old stories. In the fading light of dusk, a lone figure stood at the edge of the forest young, broad-shouldered, and carved by the wilderness that raised him. Caiden Pemberton had always belonged to the wild, yet never truly belonged anywhere. Behind him, the small, thatched roof cottage where he grew up flickered with the last glow of his father's lantern. A silent farewell. A promise unspoken. A life he could no longer remain chained to. Ahead lay the unknown. Caiden tightened the straps of his pack, heart pounding with equal parts fear and longing. He didn't know what he was searching for only that something in the world was calling to him. Something greater than the life he'd lived. Something older than the trees, deeper than the rivers, and wilder than the storms. But destiny rarely announces itself. It finds you. And it found Caiden the moment he stepped beyond the tree line. A chance encounter. A wrong turn. A single moment that would thrust him into the path of the Rangers silent watchers of the realm, masters of bow and sword. What began as an accident would shape him into one of their own and later, into something far older, far more powerful. A Druid awakens. A guardian of nature's forgotten magic. Yet the journey ahead would test him in ways he could not imagine. The mountains would challenge his strength. The forests would test his resolve. The creatures lurking in the dark would prey on his fear. And the loneliness in his heart would whisper doubts with every step. But Caiden Pemberton was determined. Honorable. Curious. A young man forged by the wild, who builds a destiny of strength through hardship and trials, loss and gain. And in the vast, untamed world beyond his father's door his true story was only beginning.
