Kael Ravenheart was once the most talented young beast tamer in his kingdom—until betrayal shattered his future. Abandoned by friends, cast aside by his fiancée, and left powerless, Kael discovers a mysterious artifact known as the God-Eye System, an ancient power that grants him the ability to see hidden truths, analyze enemies, evolve beasts, and uncover secrets lost to history. As Kael rises from obscurity, he gains powerful companions, forms contracts with legendary beasts, and becomes entangled in a conflict far greater than kingdoms and empires. His journey leads him through ancient ruins, heavenly realms, forgotten continents, and cosmic battlefields where Divine Eye wielders, immortal clans, and ancient gods compete for supremacy. Along the way, Kael discovers that he is the heir to the Shadow Emperor's bloodline and the chosen successor of the legendary Shadow God. As the mysteries of the Seven Divine Eyes unravel, he learns a terrifying truth: reality itself is a prison built to contain an ancient entity known as the Abyss Sovereign. Facing betrayals, wars, impossible trials, and enemies capable of destroying universes, Kael must unite allies from across existence and complete the God-Eye System's ultimate purpose. To save reality, he must inherit the Shadow Throne, master the Origin God Eye, and become the First Successor—the being destined to stand against the darkness beyond creation itself. A story of power, adventure, loyalty, romance, sacrifice, and destiny, The First Successor takes readers on an epic progression fantasy journey from a small kingdom to the edge of existence, where every victory reveals an even greater mystery and every ending becomes the beginning of a new legend.

If you like to be immersed in the story, or focus on the narration…DO NOT listen to this story. The transcription and narration are so convoluted, it takes half a minute or more to narrate a single sentence. There was so much fluff in EVERY SINGLE SENTENCE( I assume to fill a page) that it completely destroys the story. Unnecessary wording, compound/unneeded adjectives, uselessly long terminology. I couldn’t focus on the story. Its a shame, too. Because this could be a really fascinating story.
