story started out pretty good. his quips and come backs were really good. Then the telling changed to poor. might have held better to hold off on him stealing someone's power to becoming a killing target. keep him a mystery and then let headmaster reveal what he knows. Then the "drama" telling with those moments of silence? one after another, OMG, spit it out already.
