An ancient ritual meant to reveal Susan’s dragon lineage instead awakens a terrifying power within her. The sacred stone transforms into shards of obsidian, marking her as the first Shadow Flame dragon in a century—a bloodline believed to have vanished and feared for its connection to an ancient dragon tyrant. Now Susan must attend Aurelian Academy, a school filled with vampires, werewolves, mages, dragons, and Hunters who have every reason to fear what she may become. With a mysterious power awakening inside her and an ancient voice whispering from the darkness, Susan must uncover the truth about her bloodline while learning to control what she cannot understand. Will she master the darkness within her, or become the very monster the world fears?

I am loving this series very much. my love for how the writer built susan with mystery is much. I also like how Mary is. she isn't like how other fantasy academy people are. also I'm suspicious about that principal. even that teacher malachi or whatever his name is 😆 but then I have a problem with the voice narrating. sometimes the voice trails off and bugs. I thought it was my wifi but it wasn't. also ther isn't any sound track here. my first thought was to abandon the series when I didn't hear any dragon wings or any sound tracks. it didn't even have any video playing like some pocketfm series I saw here. but then when I really listened I felt like maybe this wasn't so bad. maybe it's how the writer wanted it. either way, I am loving the series. I can't wait to read more. keep it up! Edit: Spoiler alert, Susan is a badass! And I love the progression of the story. it doesn't start with her being overpowered immediately. I can't wait for the next episode!
