Thirty three year old CEO Athena Anderson is brutally murdered by her own family, her organs harvested while she is still conscious after her husband and younger sister betray her in the cruelest way imaginable. She expects death to be the end. Instead, she awakens in the body of Elena Hartwell, a twenty three year old comatose heiress from one of New York’s most powerful families, armed with supernatural abilities from a mystical jade Phoenix pendant and a devastating deadline of five years to destroy everyone who killed her and her unborn babies before her borrowed time expires. Now living a double life between the warm, loving Hartwell family who believe their daughter has miraculously recovered and her former life where her murderous sister Marion has stolen everything, her husband, her company, and even her organs, Athena must master her new powers, unravel the mystery of Elena’s suspicious accident, and execute the perfect revenge with help from her closest friend and sister, Ten, all while racing against a clock that is already ticking down to her second death. But when she unexpectedly finds genuine love, the kind of deep, authentic connection she never experienced in her first life, Athena becomes torn between two impossible choices. Should she give in to her feelings and risk the heartbreak of loving someone when her time is running out, or ignore her heart and focus solely on her mission for revenge, risking dying a second time with regret?
