A celestial being named Sariel is newly created in the heights of Heaven. To reach Earth, he must descend through the layered realms—Eighth Heaven down to the First—each ruled by dominions and filled with trials that will test his strength, wisdom, and purpose. His destiny is to stand as protector and guide to Erika, a human whose faith is her only weapon in a world blind to the unseen war. Even before Sariel completes his descent, Erika’s prayers reach across the divide, summoning him into her battles against forces she cannot see but refuses to fear. This is the intertwined journey of Sariel’s perilous passage through the Heavens and Erika’s steadfast fight on Earth, bound together by an echo between faith and the divine.
