In the mystic city of Vaelor, every person has a visible reflection-spirit that walks beside them — a physical manifestation of their true self. Reflections whisper advice, argue, mock, protect. Except for Soren, whose reflection never appeared. Reflectionless people are believed to be hollow — incapable of love, magic, or destiny. Soren survives by pretending theirs is merely invisible. One night, a stranger arrives whose reflection behaves strangely — it watches Soren instead of its owner. Soon Soren learns the truth: reflections can be stolen. And someone powerful is collecting them. The stranger claims Soren’s missing reflection wasn’t lost… it was taken at birth. Their search for it will unravel the city’s foundations — and force Soren to decide who they are without it.
